All of our products carry a manufacturers guarantee (unless otherwise stated) covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage & does not cover consumables or wearable items.
Pictures & Descriptions
Although we en-deavor to keep our prices pictures & descriptions up-to-date we do sometimes encounter errors. Should we encounter pricing errors you will be notified prior to the dispatch of your order. All our pictures are intended as a guide only and descriptions are the main information supplied to describe a product - these should be used in preference to the picture. Please note that small variations do sometimes occur between the printed picture and what is supplied.
Please note that where a picture includes items other than those described ie A toolbag with tools - this is intended for presentation purposes and the tools are NOT included unless the description actually states they are included.
Refusing a delivery once goods have left us
Please note that if you refuse goods from either Royal Mail or our chosen Courier once they have been sent to you, we reserve the right to bill you for both the cost of sending the item and the return of the item to us. If you refuse an order without instruction from ourselves and it becomes lost in transit we will not refund the value of goods as all liability will have passed to the person who refused the delivery. Any losses or damage that occurs from lost parcels will be the responsibility of the person who ordered the goods.
Delivery not made as you were out at the time
If goods are returned to us due to you not being in when delivery is attempted we reserve the right to charge for return of the goods back to us by deducting the original delivery charge and return charge from any refund provided. Please note that we usually make at least 2 attempts to deliver goods and our couriers will also always leave a card for you to contact them prior to returning the goods to us, usually this will only occur if no reply is made once a card is left.
Security Of Credit Card And Payment Information
MAP (UK) are constantly reviewing our secure payment service as to maintain our high levels of security. We use a combination of techniques to ensure that transactions passed are secure and trusted. Firewall’s within the system allow the isolation of information from hackers.
SHOULD YOU DISCOVER THAT YOUR CREDIT CARD HAS BEEN USED FOR AN UNAUTHORISED TRANSACTION MAP (UK) WILL REFUND TO YOU THE MONEY IT RECEIVES PROVIDED THAT: -
You inform your credit card company and MAP (UK)
a. As soon as you discover it.
b. You co-operate fully with both your credit card company and the police.
c. You co-operate fully with MAP (UK) and our shipping agents.
Applicable Law / Courts Of Jurisdiction
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law, and English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
Liability
1. If you do not receive the order placed by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them. We shall have no liability to you unless you notify MAP (UK) via E-mail at info@mapsupplies.co.uk of the problem within 40 days of your order date.
Once you have notified MAP (UK) of a problem of this nature. Our obligation to you will be at our discretion:
a: To make good any shortage and or non-delivery.
b: To replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective.
c: To refund the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
2. All terms, conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by statute, applicable local law or other wise in relation to the goods you order are excluded. Nothing in this condition is, however, intended to limit any rights that you may have as a consumer under applicable local law that may not be excluded, nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
3. MAP (UK) will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damages arising out of any problem you notify to MAP (UK) under this condition. MAP (UK) shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation.
4. MAP (UK) endeavors to provide accurate information at all times. However MAP (UK) accepts no liability for any inaccuracies, technical inaccuracies or typographical errors published within our web site or catalogues.
5. MAP (UK) reserves the right to change pricing or specification without any prior notification.

Trading Terms
MAP (UK) terms and conditions, together with our current web site prices, delivery details and contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by MAP (UK). These terms and conditions strictly cannot be varied in any way. In particular nothing stated by our staff should be understood as a variation to these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods for sale by MAP (UK). MAP (UK) has no liability for any such representation whether being untrue or misleading.
Order Cancellation
Should you wish to cancel your order for any reason please contact us with your full details and your order number.
PLEASE NOTE: Orders can only be cancelled if they have not yet been dispatched. If you need to return an item that has already been dispatched. see our returns section.
Returns
Unwanted Items
Returning unwanted items will incur a restocking charge of 15%
You may only return an item that is unwanted under the following circumstances:
- The item is in an "as new condition". It must be returned to us in its original condition unused and in its original packaging which should not be marked or damaged (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product at all). It should be returned with the original box, packaging, accessories. You must NOT write directly on the packaging.
- You notify us in writing by fax, letter or email within 7 working days of receipt of the item and return the item within 30 days. We recommend you keep a copy of this.
- The order was not an order for a business or company.
Items not returned to us in an "as new condition" will not be refunded and any costs to return the items to you will have to be paid before we can return them.
Please note that if an exchange for another item(s) is requested then you agree to the standard delivery charge that would apply to that item(s) if purchased through our checkout procedure on our website.
Please use our Printable Returns Form as a covering note for the item. Failure to complete this form will lead to a delay with the processing of your return.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for lost returns so please ensure you return them via an appropriate courier or insured method as we do not accept any liability until received by us. All costs associated with the return of the unwanted item are to be paid by yourself and return must be made to the correct returns address.
Goods should be returned with adequate protection to ensure that the goods and packaging reach us in good condition. If any goods are damaged in transit you will have to pursue a claim with your chosen courier or mail delivery service.
All goods returned to us as unwanted will be examined upon return and any refunds / exchange will only be applied once final agreement has been made to accept the product(s) back in accordance with our terms & conditions. Any free or bundled items received with the product must also be returned.

Returning Damaged / Incorrect Goods

Delivery Times & Charges
We use fast and cost effective methods to ensure efficient delivery of your order. We are constantly reviewing our carriers and our delivery rates to insure we can continue to offer the great service that our customers have come to expect.
We will endeavor to deliver the goods ordered by you as soon as reasonably practical to the address given by you at the time that you made the order.
Orders received after 12.30pm, same day despatch can not be guaranteed. A valid signature is required upon delivery. Once your order has been delivered to you and we have received payment in full you will become the owner of the goods. They will be held by you at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
Standard Dispatch
Whilst all of our customer orders are important to us, we understand that some customers require their goods quicker than others. The standard dispatch service is a more competitive service that will offer dispatch of your goods in approx 48 to 72 Hours.
